When time is tight, this quick chicken schnitzel recipe is a lifesaver. Ready in under 25 minutes, itโ€™s simple, satisfying, and full of flavour. It makes the perfect school or work lunch.

All you need are a few ingredients and you probably have most of them in your pantry and fridge. I used Chicken Schnitzels which I purchased from Woolworths (linked), mayonnaise, Italian herbs, paprika , garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, German mustard, fresh greens, onion and harissa sauce. The best part is that you can adapt this recipe to suit you.

1. Cook the Schnitzels

   – Prepare the chicken schnitzels according to the package instructions, either baking or frying them until golden and crispy.

2. Make the Ranch-Style Sauce:

   – In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Italian herbs, paprika, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, German mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.

3. Assemble

   – Slice the schnitzel

   – Cut the pita and drizzle the ranch-style inside

   – Place the cut schnitzel in the pita, add the onions and greens and add more ranch sauce and a dollop of harissa sauce on the side for an optional spicy kick.
